CFRA is seeking an accomplished and strategic Partnership Manager to oversee and cultivate our network of distribution partners within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with service facilitators, resellers, data vendors, platform providers, and other strategic partners to ensure seamless content distribution, compliance, and collaborative growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Management of Service Facilitation Partnerships
  • Ensure accurate system setup and user access management for existing partners.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of client access via each partner; communicate updates regarding access rights, additions, or removals.
  • Collaborate with the entitlements team to facilitate timely approval of access requests and address any issues promptly.
  • Liaise with sales and account management teams to communicate product changes, migrations, and format updates (e.g., EPS estimates, technical research, reports).
  • Conduct assessments of new service facilitators, including negotiations of contracts and NDAs, and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to establish product delivery mechanisms and explore additional collaboration opportunities, such as integration with Snowflake.
2. Management of Reseller Partners
  • After-Market Research vendors: Monitor readership and performance metrics, ensure appropriate firm classification, and identify cross/upselling opportunities for additional research sets.
  • For Non-AMRs: Oversee contractual renewals, pricing negotiations, and compliance monitoring. Maintain detailed records of client information, renewal timelines, and potential expansion opportunities.
  • Lead onboarding processes for new reseller partners, ensuring smooth integration and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Establish new relationships with reseller partners that will support CFRA’s revenues in non-core markets.
3. Management of Data and Platform Vendors

  • Support existing vendor relationships through query resolution, renewal negotiations, and identification of upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Oversee contract renegotiations and ensure contractual terms align with strategic objectives.
  • Maintain secure access credentials and host product demos to verify contractual compliance.
  • Evaluate potential new platform partners, conducting suitability assessments, negotiating terms, and managing onboarding activities including technical integration (API, feeds, iframe).
  • Establish reporting frameworks, coordinate sales education, and support go-to-market strategies.
4. Management of Additional Partner Relationships
  • Coordinate with marketing channels such as AWS, Snowflake, Eagle Alpha, and WealthManagement.com to expand CFRA’s distribution reach.
  • Engage with industry associations and other strategic partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in partner management, business development, or equivalent within the financial services or content distribution industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical proficiency in content delivery platforms, APIs, and data integration is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
