About the Role:
Are you a hands-on builder who thrives in lean, high-impact environments? At 3E, we’re looking for someone who’s not just comfortable with ambiguity, they run toward it. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in smaller organizations or startup-like teams, and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to create and iterate fast.
As we evolve our next-generation platform, we’re seeking someone who brings a strong software or platform engineering focus, ideally with experience architecting, building, or scaling solutions powered by AI agents. Whether you've developed AI-powered workflows or integrated autonomous agents into broader systems, you'll find the opportunity here to drive innovation, not just implement it.
You’ll work cross-functionally in a culture that values ownership, experimentation, and thoughtful execution. If you’re someone who’s excited by complex systems, energized by challenges, and motivated by delivering measurable outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.
Location: US East Coast-based candidates are preferred for this remote position to ensure alignment with our team's time zone for collaboration and occasional in-person collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Agile Delivery
  • Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews with purpose and accountability.
  • Coach teams on Agile best practices and keep projects aligned and on track.
  • Proactively identify blockers and work across teams to remove them—before they become issues.
  • Build Team Rhythm & Results
  • Help two engineering teams improve how they plan, build, and deliver software.
  • Support product managers and quality leads in turning ideas into shippable, high-quality work.
  • Reinforce clear expectations around goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Use Data and Tools to Accelerate Impact
  • Use delivery metrics to improve team performance—not just to report on it.
  • Apply AI tools (like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot) to enhance planning, reporting, or workflow automation.
  • Continuously look for ways to simplify, streamline, and scale what’s working.
  • Be a Hands-On, Visible Leader
  • Bring structure and calm to teams that need it, without slowing them down.
  • Partner across functions including engineering, product, QA, and infrastructure teams.
  • Speak up, build trust, and help the team grow stronger—not just faster.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a hands-on Scrum Master or Agile leadership role, within a SaaS, information services or related environment, with a proven ability to drive delivery—not just facilitate process.
  • Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe are strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, the software development lifecycle, and tools like Jira, Confluence, and other project tracking platforms.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and IT, to support smooth and timely releases.
  • Skilled in coaching teams through change, navigating complexity, and building alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using or integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) and agile delivery metrics (such as flow metrics) to improve team performance and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success improving delivery speed, quality, and team accountability, especially in environments with multiple priorities and strong personalities.
