Position Summary:
3E is expanding its Chemical Regulation Experts team in our fastest-growing office in Sofia. This role as an Expert Support Specialist III involves supporting 3E clients ensuring compliance with chemical regulations across various countries. In this role, you will manage service tickets, interpret regulatory updates, collaborate with third-party vendors, and participate in user training sessions. You will play a key role in customer meetings, prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) for new custom requests, and develop internal tools to enhance the reuse of regulatory knowledge.
What You'll Do:
- Help drive our clients' regulatory compliance across different regions and product lines, ensuring they meet ever-evolving demands.
- Proactively track current and upcoming regulations to ensure we continue to meet our clients' needs.
- Actively engage in client meetings, offering insights and support for ongoing projects and services.
- Contribute to the development of scalable tools and processes that enhance the reuse of regulatory knowledge and expertise.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive SOWs and detailed responses to client proposals, clearly outlining our approach.
- Stay at the forefront of industry changes by attending workshops and seminars, and continuously expanding your expertise in global regulatory compliance.
- Design and implement innovative processes that drive efficiency and expertise while addressing emerging topics within the industry or client-specific needs.
- Take ownership of complex, open-ended tasks, working independently while seeking guidance when necessary.
- Collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of customer project goals.
- Utilize internal tools like JIRA to streamline and coordinate processes efficiently.
- Contribute to automation efforts, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a closely related scientific field.
- Relevant industry experience, such as training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant, Chemical Technician, or Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), will be considered.
- At least three years of experience working with global chemical management regulations (e.g., EU REACH/CLP, US HazCom/TSCA).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with global clients.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Proven problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex issues systematically by implementing the most effective course of action.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, ensuring products, services, or processes meet legal standards and customer expectations through consistent monitoring, evaluation, and resolution of deviations.
- Preferred/Desired:
- Master's or a PhD in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a closely related scientific field.
- Project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Proficiency in German or French is preferred.
