We seek an experienced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our growing Commercial team. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and capturing new business opportunities within the mid-market segment. You will play a key role in expanding our client base and establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of sales success. In this true "hunter" role, you will be joining our team, going after customers in Europe.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process in an assigned territory and target market and grow our market presence with new client acquisition and cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Initiate sales discussions and develop relationships through direct calling/emailing and lead follow-up in alignment with 3E’s demand generation efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on creating targeted campaign messages.
  • Partner with the Account Management team to ensure successful new client onboarding/hand-off, along with other client-facing teams (e.g., Implementation, Enablement, and Authoring teams) as well as account growth by identifying and actively pursuing cross-sell opportunities.
  • Influence our product roadmap by sharing client feedback with our Commercial leaders and Product teams.
  • Document sales activity and proactively manage pipeline details in Salesforce.

What Makes You A Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in chemistry, environmental policy, chemical engineering, EH&S, or a related business field.
  • 3+ years of direct complex sales experience.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce.
  • A background in the chemical regulatory solutions, supply chain or IT systems sales, or EH&S industry is preferred.
  • Languages: German native speaker with English
  • Ability to travel (30%) to EU locations.
