As a Product Design Manager at 3E, you will be pivotal in defining and delivering products for a safer, more sustainable world. You will build an international team of product designers and UX researchers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and regulatory experts, to design enhancements and new products for our customers.
You will lead the Platform team, developing customer-facing user and machine interfaces for 3E’s entire product suite, including products to manage Environmental Health and Safety and Sustainability, Compliance, Product Stewardship, and Supply Chain Management.
What You'll Do:
- Define & drive product design for new and innovative solutions to support 3E’s product line, consistent with 3E overall product and growth strategy
- Drive engineering effort by defining user experience visions, product storyboards, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to drive improved and consistent product experience
- Analyze market trends, customer and user needs, and competitive environments. Integrate findings into product design priorities
- Define user metrics to be gathered and analyze results to inform areas for product improvement
- Evangelize the overall product design strategy to both internal and external stakeholders. Includes engaging with clients via the CAB, client visits, conferences, and other channels to inform product strategy and roadmap.
- Conduct primary research with key customers, beta users, and others to understand product needs
- Completes all responsibilities outlined in the annual Performance Plan, including special projects and other duties as assigned.
What Will Make You a Good Fit:
- Minimum 8 years of B2B Product Design, or related experience in SaaS-based applications
- Minimum 4 years are in people management, hiring and mentoring designers
- Expert-level interaction design
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and evaluation
- Experience building and managing design systems, creating and using design patterns, designing user workflows
- Expert-level iterative design, including storyboarding, prototyping, interactive mockups
- Experience with modern web application development, including CSS and React
- Expertise in Design process, Design- Ops, process design, and evolution
- Experience with new product development, product integration, and user experience as a product strategy
- Experience in SCRUM/Agile development methodologies
- Experience in data products and services, data science, or AI.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technical product domains
- Experience working in high-growth organizations
- Ability to travel up to 15%
